Our apologies that we haven't posted much recently. . .Between a potty-training toddler and a baby who manages to spit up 80% of what she's eaten and *still* have enough to overspill her Huggies, it's a small feat just to keep the family laundry under control. But overall life is good here at La Casa del Olson. Anna is growing like a weed and learning all sorts of adorable new things. She's gotten adept at rolling over--check out the pic, doesn't she look so proud? She also likes to try and get Mom or Dad to play with her at 3 AM some nights. . .even in the wee hours it's hard not to smile back when she flashes us that big grin of hers!
Elizabeth is being her usual self--running Mom and Dad ragged, doting on her little sister, and saying hilarious stuff. The other day I was cutting out a set of flannelboard pictures, and Elizabeth spotted a picture of baby Jesus. She asked who it was and I said, "That's Jesus when he was a baby." She looked thoughtful for a minute, then pointed to a picture of a girl and asked, "Is that Jesus when he was a mommy?" She's getting excited for her birthday, though she still doesn't totally get the concept of a birthday party. . .she does know that there's cake involved, though, and she's already put in a request that hers be a pink Elmo cake.
Jared has been working in the yard, getting the decrepit old deathtrap-of-a-garage in our backyard torn down so we can start anew on the Man Lair come spring. Holly is busy "stashbusting" (i.e. using up some of the fabric she's got squirreled away, bought years ago for some purpose that has long since been forgotten) and keeping Elizabeth from smothering Anna with "loves".
We're looking forward to Halloween this year--tonight we told Elizabeth about trick-or-treating and she is SO excited to get to give candy to all the kids who come to our house. (Just imagine how excited she'll be when she figures out that *she* can put on her costume and go to the other kids' houses to get her own candy!)

What would our lives be like without our g-girlies?? (Because that is ALL we are going to have!!!)
