Another Christmas has come and gone. . .Elizabeth seemed to enjoy this year's festivities much more than last year's (which she primarily spent nursing and sleeping). We had a whirlwind weekend, full of family parties--Elizabeth loved the chance to play with her cousins and second cousins (. . .or are they first cousins once removed?)
Elizabeth welcomed her parents to the first of many too-early Christmas mornings to come by waking up at 6:30 on Sunday and refusing to go back to sleep. So we ended up opening our presents before church after all! After church we spent the afternoon with the Eppersons, followed by an evening with the Olsons. At the risk of sounding like a cornball, the best present that Elizabeth received was getting to spend the day with all of her favorite people. :)
